Construction & Tower Crane

A complete equipment package for active construction sites

Tower cranes, plant equipment, night-shift lighting, perimeter security — one site, many equipment needs. Johank supplies hybrid power and area lighting from one supplier, deployable on the same truck.

The problem

Why diesel-only sites lose money

Construction sites have a duty cycle that diesel was never designed for: long low-load periods, occasional peaks, 24-hour operation, and area lighting that runs all night.

Low-load fuel waste

Gensets sized for peak demand run at 20–30% load most of the day. Diesel efficiency drops sharply below 40% load.

Night-time noise

Security, CCTV and lighting loads are small but the diesel still runs all night. Neighbours complain. LEZ rules tighten.

Mains lighting gaps

Temporary site lighting strung off mains needs cable runs, transformers, and a competent electrician. Mobile light towers replace all that.

Urban compliance

Stage V, Low Emission Zones and ESG reporting are becoming conditions for winning contracts in European cities.

The solution

Hybrid power + mobile lighting, deployed together

During the day, the ENERGYPACK EMS manages load sharing between diesel and battery. When the crane lifts, both sources support the peak. Between lifts, the battery carries the load alone while the diesel charges or shuts down.

At night, the battery can run security, CCTV and lighting silently — no diesel noise, no exhaust, no fuel consumption until the next shift starts.

For working areas the main genset can't reach with a cable run, KCL2000-LED light towers fill the gap. Self-powered, deployable in minutes, repositionable as the site grows.
